Potato Portraits
Human beings and potatoes have much in common. We both come in different shapes, sizes and shades of color. Our skin is porous, scars, freckles, and both inevitably wrinkle and age with time. To portray this idea, I made an installation of over a thousand portraits, transforming everyone I know, random people on the street, as well as pop stars and politician into potatoes.
